Trademark notice
The brand names in the MNTLG archive belong to the companies that make the machines and the documents. This page states how those names are used here, and how to get in touch if that use is wrong.
1. Third-party brand names
Brand and model names that appear in the catalogue, in the per-manual pages and in the search index — including Polaris, Can-Am, BRP, Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat, CFMOTO, Lynx, AODES, Hisun, KTM, Suzuki, Kawasaki and others — are the property of their respective owners. The list above is not exhaustive: it shows the marks most often seen in the archive.
The Operator of powersport.one does not own these marks and has not registered them. The Operator is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to the owners of these marks, and is not an authorised dealer, distributor or service partner for any of them. The inclusion of a document about a manufacturer’s product does not imply any commercial relationship with that manufacturer, and the Operator does not sell the manufacturers’ products.
2. How the names are used
Brand and model names are used on the Site only in the sense of nominative use:
- to identify the machine that a document in the archive covers — make, model, model year;
- to identify the document itself in the catalogue and in the search index;
- to describe the compatibility of parts, specifications and service procedures with a named machine.
No logo, emblem, badge or other brand artwork is reproduced on the Site. Where a brand would have to be shown for identification, the text name is used instead.
Nothing on the Site should be read as a statement that the Operator is authorised, endorsed or sponsored by the owner of a brand name, or that the Operator sells parts or vehicles of that brand. The archive is a reference tool for the manuals themselves.
3. The Operator’s own names
4. Reporting an issue
If you are the owner of a trademark and you believe that a use on the Site is inaccurate, misleading or not covered by nominative use, contact @yitshock with:
- the trademark or brand name concerned;
- your name and contact details, and confirmation that you represent the rights holder;
- the exact page or catalogue entry, and the wording or brand name used there;
- what you would like changed, and why.
Requests are reviewed and answered. Where a catalogue entry names a brand incorrectly, or names a machine that the document does not cover, the entry is corrected.
So that the channel stays usable, the following are not processed: claims that the mark is not registered or not in use; claims from a sender who cannot be identified as the rights holder or an authorised representative; and claims about a mark that does not appear in the archive. Knowingly false claims are not reviewed.
Nothing on this page grants any licence to use a third-party trademark, and nothing here limits any right that the owner of a trademark may have.
